Beach Clean Up
** Please login or create an account to register **
Join the Platinum Affiliate Committee, AIMM, and the Bay East Foundation on Sat, Sep 21st from 9 am - 12 pm for an Alameda beach cleanup and be part of the 40th Anniversary California Coastal Cleanup Day at Robert W. Crown Memorial State Beach, 8th Street & Otis Dr in Alameda. Look for EBPRD staff at the registration table near the Native Plant Garden and Bath House.
Our water and shoreline are essential for ocean health. So let's clean up the beach and have some fun! There will be networking afterward, with drinks/eats at one of the breweries or wineries (location to be determined). To participate, please register on the Bay East website and make a donation - all proceeds will benefit the Bay East Foundation.
The Foundation's goals are:
- Support Bay East members in need through the Members Helping Members Program™.
- Offer community scholarships and grants to students from Alameda and Contra Costa Counties who are pursuing higher education degrees.
- Support charitable organizations and local schools in the community.
* The Foundation is a 501(c)3 Corporation, and charitable contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
Lastly, disposable gloves and trash bags will be provided. This event is open to Bay East and community members.
